BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Tori Ebert set a school record in the shot put (15.28m), helping the Charlotte women's track and field team to get off to a strong start at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by UAB Saturday.
Ebert finished in the shot put, but several other women turned in solid performances.
Brittany Stanley finished second in the MILE (5:04.18), while Kayla Moore jumped a distance of 5.56 meters, placing fourth in the long jump. Alex Council qualified for the 60m finals with a time of 7.54, before running a 7.
