CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball limited visiting Gardner-Webb to a team shooting percentage of just 24.2 percent, as the 49ers rolled to a 74-49 victory in the season opener for both schools Tuesday night inside Halton Arena.
OFFENSE SPREAD AROUND
Four Niners reached double-figure scoring, led by 15 points apiece from redshirt senior Jade Phillips and sophomore Jazmin Harris. Phillips added 12 rebounds for a double-double.
Junior Octavia Jett-Wilson chipped in 14 points, while redshirt junior Christian Hithe added 12 to match her career high.
