Charlotte, N.C. - 24 Charlotte track and field athletes set personal records and two more finished first in their events as day one of both the JDL Camel City Invitational and Carolina Invitational concluded on Friday, Feb. 7.

Charlotte had eight athletes compete in the 800m event and three place in the top-20 out of 83 runners. Dominic DiNardi ran a time of 1:57.11, Kobe Brown was right behind with a mark of 1:57.17, Zach Beale finished with a personal record of 1:57.
