CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte head women's tennis coach Anthony Davison has announced the addition of Margaux Maquet to his 49ers' program as the first signee during his tenure. Maquet, an Ath, Belgium, native made it official with her signing of a National Letter of Intent Wednesday morning.
"We are incredibly happy to welcome Margaux to the 49ers family," Davison said. "She is a top player in Belgium and will make an immediate impact on the team next fall. She visited last month and instantly clicked with the team and coaches.
"Coach (Brooke) Bolender and I are proud to have signed Margaux as our first recruit and expect to see great things from her in the coming years.
