CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte head cross country coach Alex Gibby has announced an eight-meet slate for his 49ers men’s and women’s squads this fall, including two locally. The Niners will also serve as the host institution for the Conference USA Championships the final weekend of October.
“We have set up our schedule to prepare for our championship competitions in late October and November,” Gibby said.
The campaign gets underway Sept. 2 with the teams playing host to the Charlotte Preview at Frank Liske Park in nearby Concord. The meet will serve as a prelude to the league championships race, which will take place on the same course.
