TEMPE, Ariz. – The Charlotte women's tennis rising senior duo of Immie Cowper and Pierina Imparato were named 2018-19 ITA Scholar Athletes, as announced by the organization Thursday. Additionally, the 49ers were selected as an ITA All-America Team for their efforts in 2018-19 in the classroom under head coach Anthony Davison.
In order to be a Scholar Athlete, an individual must possess at least a 3.5 GPA for the academic year and be a varsity letterwinner. Teams are chosen by meeting the criteria of a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher for the academic year and student-athletes must be letterwinners.
