FREDERICK, Md. – Charlotte head women's basketball coach Cara Consuegra was one of seven inductees Saturday as members of the 2017 Frederick County YMCA's Alvin G. Quinn Sports Hall of Fame class.
"It's a huge honor for me considering I grew up in that YMCA and because I'm being honored by the county and community, that's what means the most to me," Consuegra said. "Even though our family is in Charlotte now, Frederick is still considered home. To be honored by the community that helped shape me is one of the biggest honors I've had in my career so far.
