DENTON, Texas – Charlotte head women's basketball coach Cara Consuegra picked up career victory No. 100 as her 49ers started Conference USA action with a 78-63 win over North Texas Friday evening in Denton, Texas. Consuegra, in her sixth season, joins Ed Baldwin (1989-2001) as the only coaches in program history to reach the century mark.

Charlotte (9-3, 1-0 C-USA) placed four players in double-figure scoring, led by 18 from sophomore Grace Hunter and a career-high 17 from redshirt junior Nyilah Jamison-Myers. Senior Lefty Webster added 16 and classmate Ciara Gregory dropped in 12 for the well-rounded offensive attack.
