CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's basketball netted 51 points in the second half, giving itself a chance to win at the end, but it fell just short, 83-81, to Conference USA-leader Middle Tennessee Saturday evening inside Halton Arena. The 49ers overcame a 23-point deficit to force the game's only four ties in the final 5:38.

Redshirt junior Nyilah Jamison-Myers finished with her fifth career double-double, tallying 19 points on 8-of-11 field goals and 3-of-5 free throws to go along with her game-best 10 rebounds. She also added a career-best five blocked shots and two steals in 29 minutes.
