Conference USA has announced that the Charlotte 49ers league-opener at Florida Atlantic, Oct. 3, has been picked up by ESPNU. The game time for the contest has been moved to 4 p.m. ET to accommodate the nationally-televised broadcast.
With this announcement, each of the 49ers first three games will be nationally-televised. Charlotte's season-opener at Appalachian State was on ESPN2, Saturday's home opener vs. Georgia State will be on ESPNU and now the C-USA opener at Florida Atlantic will be on ESPNU. In addition, Charlotte's final two games of the season: at Marshall, Nov. 21 and vs. WKU, Nov.
