Charlotte N.C. – With the recent cancellation of the Volunteer Classic, the Charlotte 49ers men's basketball program will host its own multi-team event (MTE), November 27, 28, and 30 in Halton Arena. The 49ers Tip-Off Classic will include East Carolina and Belmont Abbey.
"Times like these call for creativity, and I'm really proud of our staff for pulling this together on a moment's notice," said 49ers' Director of Athletics Mike Hill. "We thank ECU and Belmont Abbey for helping us put this event together to allow our student-athletes a chance to compete on opening week.
