LEXINGTON, Va. - The Charlotte 49ers' track and field team tallied 22 personal records in the VMI Winter Relays on Friday and Saturday, where the team saw four first-place finishes and seven second-place finishes.

Freshman Thomas Olesen got the day started in the heptathlon, where he posted personal records in all four events (60m, long jump, high jump and shot put). He was fourth in the long jump with a PR of 6.14m (20'-1.75").
In the women's pole vault event, junior Riley Felts was the top Charlotte finisher with a season-best pole vault of 3.
