The Niners finished the day 17 strokes under par (271) one stroke behind South Florida (554, -22). Charlotte's 271 is tied for the third best in program history for a single round.
Individually, Seb Cave (135, -9) is tied for second place while being just one stroke behind Wilhem Ryding (North Texas) for the lead. Cave improved on his round one score by shooting five under on Tuesday, totaling four birdies on the back nine.
