CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers softball program got a head start on its 2018 recruiting class when head coach Aimee DeVos signed six to national letters of intent during the early signing period in November.

Local products Anna Devereaux, Paysia Reed and Imani Rochelle, joined Maggie Cannon, Hannah Thompson and Reagan Thompson in forming the core of what will eventually be the Niners 2018 freshman class.

"The 49er class of 2018 is very versatile and full of multi-dimensional players, across the board," DeVos said. "We feel that they represent and will embrace our 49er softball culture and continuing to make our program a success in the class room and on the field.
