Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte softball team hosts its first of three home tournaments as the Virginia Cavaliers and Appalachian State Mountaineers travel to North Carolina for the Charlotte Invitational on Feb. 7-9 at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium.
HISTORY
Charlotte softball held a record of 15-35 (6-17 in C-USA) in 2019. The 49ers have a 21-6 all-time record against Appalachian State, their last meeting coming almost four years ago on April 20, 2016 when Charlotte won 8-0. The Mountaineers are coming off a 31-25 2019 season and an invite to the National Invitational Softball Championship. Charlotte softball holds a 3-21 all-time record against Virginia.
