Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers softball team hosts its second tournament this weekend with the First Pitch Classic on Feb. 14-16 at Sue M. Daughtridge Stadium. The first game will be on Friday, Feb. 14 against the North Carolina A&T Aggies at 2 p.m. followed by another game at 4:30 p.m. versus the Rhode Island Rams. The Morehead State Eagles will also participate in the tournament.
Charlotte holds an 22-0 all-time record against North Carolina A&T, with their last meeting coming almost 13 years ago on March 7, 2007, when the 49ers won 7-6.
