Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers (9-6) went 2-0 on the day at the Green and White Classic after defeating both the Winthrop Eagles and the Campbell Camels, 10-2 and 4-3, respectively. Imani Rochelle hit a walkoff, two-RBI home run in the sixth to run-rule Winthrop and Cori Henderson scored the winning run against Campbell in the 12th inning on a wild pitch.

The 49ers run-ruled Winthrop in six innings thanks to a two-RBI shot by Rochelle to end the game. Seven of the nine starters recorded a hit in the game and six doubles were hit, two by freshman Riley Krueger.
