IRVING, Texas – Charlotte student-athletes continue to shine in the classroom, as 226 49ers were named to the 2017-18 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll as announced by the league office Thursday. The 226 Niners on the list rank second among the league's 14 schools, trailing only Rice.
In order to be considered for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, unveiled by Commissioner Judy MacLeod, student-athletes have to maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
Football led the way with 33 student-athletes included, edging out the combined 32 from women's cross country and track & field.
