CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women’s tennis team will play its next two matches in less than a 24-hour span, as it gets set to play host to former Atlantic 10 foe Dayton at 1 p.m. Thursday before traveling to Charleston, South Carolina, for a 9:30 a.m. Friday neutral-site contest with Conference USA adversary Marshall. Thursday’s contest will mark the first at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex for the 49ers since they faced No. 66 Winthrop March 3.
Charlotte brings a 4-6 record into the two-match slate and is looking for its first victory since a 5-2 triumph March 7 versus Creighton in Altamonte Springs, Florida, during a Spring break trip.
