HATTIESBURG, Miss. - After earning a postseason berth for the first time since 2015, the sixth-seeded Charlotte Softball team will go head-to-head with seventh-seed North Texas in the first round of the 2017 Conference USA Tournament on Wednesday, May 10th at 2:30 pm CT/3:30 pm ET. The winner of that game will advance to take on third-seeded Louisiana Tech at 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET.
The 49ers entered last weekend as the last team out of the conference tournament, but went on to sweep Middle Tennessee to not only secure a bid, but to become the number six seed.
