CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the first time in program history, the Charlotte 49ers men's cross country team made the top-30 USTFCCCA rankings this year, coming in at No. 29 for three consecutive weeks, which is the highest ranking ever for the program.
The men's team won the Conference USA Cross Country Championships back in October totaling 31 points, the closest team being 43 points behind in second. Sophomore Nick Scudder claimed the individual conference title with a new PR in the 8k of 23:36.28. Scudder was followed by Paul Arredondo in second place, which helped Arredondo win the Outstanding Senior award.
