CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Men's Basketball Head Coach announced the addition of former Providence center Anton Bonke from the transfer portal on Tuesday.
The 7-foot-2 big man appeared in 16 games for the Friars with a start against eventual Big East champion St. John's on Dec. 12. He transferred to Providence after a year with Eastern Arizona College, where he played 17 games (16 starts).
He averaged 18.3 minutes per game for Eastern Arizona with a season-high scoring output (23) against the College of Southern Nevada as part of 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
