Charlotte loses tough one to NC A&T at home

The Charlotte 49ers (15-19, 5-7 C-USA) piled up 15 hits in Wednesday night’s loss to the North Carolina A&T Aggies (9-26), giving up too many free passes and not capitalizing with runners on base, losing 9-7.

“You have to give A&T credit but we just had too many poor at bats and made it too easy for them to score,” said Head Coach Loren Hibbs after the loss.

NC A&T opened up the game by putting up two runs in the first inning off of Brandon Vogler who only went 2.1 innings in his second start of the season, giving up three runs on four hits.
