MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Charlotte women's tennis continued to make waves on the courts this spring, as it picked up a 5-2 victory at Middle Tennessee Saturday afternoon after taking the doubles point and grinding out the win in several tough singles contests.
The triumph, the program's third-in-a-row, improves the 49ers' record to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in Conference USA action. The last time Charlotte posted multiple regular-season league wins was in 2011, during the program's tenure in the Atlantic 10, and the last time in Conference USA was during the inaugural stint in the league, in 2004.
