Charlotte, N.C. - Behind two players with over 20 points and four players in double figures, the Charlotte 49ers (12-17, C-USA 8-8) defeated UTEP (17-13, C-USA 9-8), 88-78, in their last home game of the 2015-16 season.
“That second half was one of the better defensive halves of the season and we also came out and really hit some big shots” Charlotte 49ers head coach Mark Price said. “Hopefully we continue to build momentum. It comes to winning and playing again or we are going home. That’s what this time of the year is all about.
