CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Coming off of a program-best 2017 season, where the Charlotte women's cross country team secured their first Conference USA championship, and the men's program collected a runner-up finish, head coach Joseph Lynn, who was crowned the 2017 Conference USA Women's Coach of the Year, has his group prepared to stride into the 2018 season with great enthusiasm.
The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's cross country teams have been selected to bring home the gold for each of their respective programs in the preseason Conference USA polls, the conference announced.
"To be selected by the coaches to win the conference title is an honor," head coach Joseph Lynn said.
