CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's tennis continued its late-season surge by winning its eighth-straight decision, blanking USC Upstate 4-0 on Senior Day Saturday at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex. The victory kept the Niners perfect on their home courts this spring at 8-0 and it was their eighth-straight overall win, both reached for the first time since 2006.
"Today was a reminder of how close we are as a team," head coach Anthony Davison said. "The support we showed to our seniors was very special and heartwarming. The team took care of business on the court and is looking forward to these important upcoming weeks.
