Jon Davis led Charlotte (5-21, 1-14 C-USA) with 20 points, three rebounds, and six assists, but the 49ers fell to Western Kentucky (21-7, 13-2 C-USA), 93-55, on the road.
Charlotte had three players in double figures: Davis, Jailan Haslem and Milos Supica. Haslem had 11 points and five rebounds. Supica added 11 points and led both teams in rebounds with 11, seven of which were offensive rebounds.
Western Kentucky had six players in double-figures led by Josh Anderson’s 19 points. Justin Johnson scored 16 points while shooting 7-of-12 from the field. Dwight Coleby added 12 points and seven rebounds.
