With the recent news of the Charlotte 49ers’ two-time All-American forward Kyle Parker being drafted by Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew, it is a good time to take a look back over the last four years of the Charlotte 49ers men’s soccer program under Coach Kevin Langan.
“We are extremely pleased for Kyle being drafted,” Langan said. “This is just reward for four years of hard work but as he knows this is only the beginning. He joins a long list of 49ers in the pros and we are proud of the rich tradition the program has of nurturing and developing young players for the next level.
