BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Charlotte golf fired a final round 285 (+1) to run away with the Hoosier Invitational by 18 shots to capture the first team victory since doing so at Davidson last spring. The 11-under total of 841 set a new season high as the 49ers were the only team to finish under par in the 14-team event.
"It's always nice to win as a team," started Head Coach Ryan Cabbage. "The golf course at IU allowed for a lot of birdies, but at the same time, you could find yourself out of position pretty quickly.
