CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte women's soccer program will continue its 25th season celebrations this weekend, starting with a 7 p.m. Friday match against WKU. Former players from throughout the program's history, dating back to 1994, have been invited back to campus to take part in a pregame reception and be recognized for their contributions during the game. The weekend concludes with a 1 p.m. Sunday kickoff against Marshall.
Fans attending Friday's match will receive a 25th season pennant upon entering Transamerica Field, while supplies last.
The current squad of 49ers has won four of its last five games, improving its record to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in league play entering the weekend.
