CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After taking two-of-three at 12th-ranked Florida Atlantic this weekend, both Holden Capps and Drew Ober have been named Conference USA Players of the Week announced by league officials Monday afternoon. Capps, winning his first weekly award, shut down FAU in relief on Sunday while Ober racked up 11 hits to help earn his second honor of the year.
Capps, earning his first Pitcher of the Week award, had a career relief appearance on Sunday afternoon helping the Niners secure the 7-6, 15-inning win in the longest game in school-history clinching the C-USA road series at #12 Florida Atlantic.
