FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A South Dakota State 3-pointer swished home as the final buzzer sounded and the Jackrabbits escaped with a 71-70 victory despite a complete-game effort by Charlotte in the two teams' final contest of the relocated Puerto Rico Clasico in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The 49ers led for the majority of the game but Madison Guebert's triple at the horn, her game-high fifth from behind the arc, equaled the Jackrabbits' largest lead of nip-and-tuck matchup.
