IRVING, Texas – For the second week in a row, Dawson Bryce was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league announced on Sunday afternoon (May 18).
Additionally, pitcher Blake Gillespie was named an Honorable Mention for the fourth time this year.
Bryce continued his torrid month of May this week, leading The American with a .600 batting average and 12 hits. He was only one of two players in the league to record 10 RBI and had a 1.469 OPS after totaling 19 bases from four doubles and one home run.
