CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball senior reliever Colby Bruce has been named one of 70 players to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Award watch list. The award is given annually to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I baseball.
"Colby is coming off of a strong 2019 and has worked extremely hard for our upcoming 2020 season," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "The Charlotte native, has taken his game to another level, and is deserving to be mentioned amongst the nation's best. One of the things I am most proud of, however, is his work in the classroom and how he represents our program each day.
