After his performance against Kentucky on Saturday, redshirt junior Daniel Bruce was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, for the 2nd time in his career.
Bruce was awarded his first C-USA Offensive Player of the Week last season was earned through a game-winning goal over No. 3 Clemson.
Bruce spent his first year at Charlotte redshirted and then took only three shots in 2015, very quickly became a driving force on Charlotte’s offense.
He was essential last season in helping his fellow Niners claim the C-USA regular season title as well as continue to be nationally ranked throughout the season and earn a seed in the NCAA Tournament.
