Charlotte, NC – Charlotte 49ers men's soccer redshirt junior forward Daniel Bruce was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week after his performance last Saturday against Kentucky.
This marks the second time in his career that he has earned Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Bruce scored the 49ers' goal in their 1-1 double overtime tie with Conference USA foe Kentucky last Saturday at Transamerica Field. Bruce recorded two shots in the game.
Bruce leads the 49ers with six goals on the season. He is tied for second in Conference USA in goals in conference play with a team-leading four goals.
