Charlotte, NC – Redshirt sophomore forward Daniel Bruce was named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week for his performances for the Charlotte 49ers nationally-ranked men's soccer team last week.
Bruce scored the game-winning goal in the 56th minute to the lead the 49ers to a 1-0 road win at third-ranked Clemson, October 11. For the season, Bruce has scored three goals with two game-winners to go along with one assist.
This season, Bruce is the sixth Niner to earn a weekly honor and the fourth to earn Conference USA player of the week honors.
