Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's basketball programs will hold their annual Basketball Madness in Halton Arena this Thursday, October 19 at 9 p.m.
Admission is free and it is open to the public. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will get a free T-Shirt. Again this year, Burpie from MTV's Wild'n Out will host the event and the Split Second Sound will DJ the event.
The 49ers basketball programs will participate in skill competitions, a co-ed scrimmage and team dances. Former 49ers standout Eddie Basden, who played in the NBA and played this summer in the Big3 league, will be honored during the event.
