CLEMSON, S.C. – Charlotte baseball mounted a rampant rally over the second half of Monday's ballgame at #14 Clemson, but in the end, the Tigers held on for a 7-6 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
"We had a chance to win at the end," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We got off to a poor start and didn't get going into the flow of the game until late. But, I'm really proud of the guys for battling back. We just made a couple of mistakes you can't make at this level. Clemson has a tremendous team and are used to winning here.
