CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte and Rhode Island have agreed to a three-game baseball series this weekend after both teams had their originally scheduled weekends altered due to COVID-19 concerns with their respective opponents. The series will open on Saturday at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte with a doubleheader slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. with the series-finale back at Hayes Stadium at noon on Sunday. Saturday's double dip will be a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning contest.
RENEWING A RIVALRY
The Niners and Rams will renew their rivalry from the Atlantic 10 days when they faced each other multiple times a year from 2007-2013.
