BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Charlotte baseball won their third-straight Conference USA series with a 3-0, rain-shortened victory at UAB on Sunday afternoon. The game entered a rain delayed in the bottom of the sixth with both teams waiting over two hours to try and resume, but Mother Nature didn't allow it giving the 49ers the three-run victory.
Charlotte (27-17, 14-7 C-USA) took advantage of two Blazer errors in the second to get on the board without a hit. Jackson Mims reached on a fielding error at short before Logan Sherer also got on with a fielding error at second.
