Baseball Sweeps Saturday DH 7-1 and 4-0 over Tribe to Start 5-0

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A couple of early runs and scoring in five different innings of game one to go along with a four-run first in game two allowed Charlotte baseball to sweep a Saturday doubleheader from William & Mary 7-1 and 4-0 on Saturday at Hayes Stadium. Four Niners on the mound combined to allow just five hits to the Tribe all evening as Bryce McGowan and Christian Lothes combined on the shutout in the nightcap.

FIRST INNING STRIKE

Charlotte (5-0) opened up the scoring in the first with an infield single off the bat of Dominic Pilolli and a two-run blast by David McCabe, his second of the year, just four pitches later.
