Baseball Stays Hot; Roll Past Blue Raiders 10-2

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Powered by five players posting multi-hit games and a five-run fifth, Charlotte baseball rolled to a 10-2 victory over Middle Tennessee opening up their three-game C-USA series Friday night. Due to forecasted weather on Sunday, both teams will now engage in a Saturday doubleheader to wrap up the series.

"Tonight was a big win," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "Middle Tennessee is a dangerous team. We didn't get off to a great start, but I'm proud of our guys for continuing to grind."

Charlotte (22-16, 10-6 C-USA) opened up with an early run in the bottom of the first using a pair of leadoff singles by Zach Jarrett and Brett Netzer.
