CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte and Rhode Island each took a game in the series-opening doubleheader at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday afternoon. The Niners picked up a walk-off 2-1 win in 10 innings before the Rams doubled up the hosts 6-3 in the nightcap. A capacity crowd of 1,734 was on hand Saturday for the return of baseball Uptown.
