BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Charlotte 49ers set new season-highs with 16 runs and 19 hits cruising past WKU 16-5 on Friday night. Every starter contributed either a RBI or run scored while six players posted multi-hit games. The Niners have now won three-straight in Conference USA play.
"It was a really good night offensively," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We had guys really value every single at-bat tonight. We stayed engaged the whole time. It was a really good win and we'll see if we can do it again tomorrow. We need to show up tomorrow, hopefully come out with the same intensity and be ready to go.
