CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball will open up a rare Saturday-Monday weekend series hosting Canisius for a four-game set at Hayes Stadium. The Golden Griffins took home the MAAC Tournament title and qualified for the Minneapolis Regional a season ago.

The 49ers nearly erased a 6-0 deficit over the final four innings and had the tying run at second base when the game came to an end.
