CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sophomore Andrew Lindsey tossed a near-perfect six innings while the offense cranked out 12 runs on 16 hits as Charlotte baseball scored a 12-4 season-opening victory over Morehead State on Friday afternoon.
"Opening day is special," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "It always will be and you can't ever take it for granted. Even without our friends, family and the fan base here, this stadium still had the energy, the vibes from when we got here and it never let up. It went straight from pregame all the way through the last pitch.
