CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Due to heavy rains in the Charlotte area continuing into Saturday morning, the series-opening baseball game with Canisius has been canceled. The four-game series will now drop to a three-gamer beginning with the noon doubleheader on Sunday. The series-finale is still set for 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
Anyone with tickets for Saturday's game can use them for any remaining home games at Hayes Stadium in 2019. If fans wish to use those tickets for Sunday's game, they can bring them to the Hayes Stadium box office this weekend. Monday is free admission for all.
