Baseball Looks to Snap Skid in 3-Game Set at FAU

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will look to snap a three-game losing streak, two-straight in Conference USA play, when they open up a three-game series at Florida Atlantic on Friday night. The last time down to Boca Raton, the 49ers scored a historic win in the Sunday finale to take two-of-three on the weekend.

Charlotte (15-13, 5-4 C-USA) will travel to warm weather this weekend in hopes of heating the bats back up after a season-low three hits in a 2-0 loss at UNCG on Tuesday night. Reece Hampton had two of the three hits while Zack Smith's double provided the only other hit of the night.
